CEAR Hub proudly participated in the City of Savannah’s Earth Day 2025 celebration, held on Friday, April 25, at Daffin Park. Organized by the City of Savannah's Office of Sustainability in collaboration with the Lite Foot Environmental Foundation, this annual event serves as a vital platform for community engagement around environmental sustainability. Recognized as one of the largest environmental outreach events in Georgia, Savannah’s Earth Day celebration attracts thousands of participants each year.

As part of this year’s festivities, CEAR Hub had the opportunity to connect with the community through our interactive floodplain simulator, which demonstrated the real-world impacts of flooding in Chatham County neighborhoods. Our exhibit not only sparked meaningful dialogue but also supported the event’s broader mission of promoting environmental awareness and resilience. Visitors inquired about the SMART Sea level sensors, PurpleAir sensors and the number of projects we partner with in the community.

The 2025 event centered around the theme “Healthy Planet, Healthy People” highlighting the deep connection between ecological well-being and public health—an idea at the heart of both CEAR Hub’s work and the City’s sustainability goals.
