Cleaner indoor air is sweeping through Savannah and nearby areas due to a crucial collaboration between Be Smart Home Solutions and Mothers & Others for Clean Air!


This joint initiative seeks to greatly enhance indoor air quality and foster healthier living spaces across our region. 

Be Smart Home Solutions: Committed to developing healthier and more sustainable living environments through innovative home solutions.

Mothers & Others for Clean Air: A prominent advocacy group focused on protecting children's health from air pollution and climate change.


This initial distribution of air purifiers has two main objectives:

  1. Immediate Relief: To provide residents with immediate relief by offering cleaner indoor air, thus improving their living conditions.

  2. Demonstrating Demand: To showcase the high demand for such resources in our community. By having residents register for these purifiers, Be Smart Home Solutions and Mothers & Others for Clean Air aim to collect essential data. This data will be crucial for acquiring more units in the near future, enabling us to broaden our reach and impact.


    Who Can Benefit?

    We are particularly looking to connect with residents who are:

    • Close to the ports: Areas often experience higher levels of particulate matter and emissions.

    • Live in areas that see frequent flooding: Floodwaters can contribute to mold and other indoor air quality issues.

    • Close to busy roads and highways: These areas are exposed to increased vehicle emissions.



    The air purifiers we are distributing are the Intellipure Compact portable units from HealthWay, a leader in commercial air purification with units found in hospitals and commercial buildings like Rockefeller Center in NYC.

    These powerful compact units are designed to cover up to 500 square feet, making them ideal for bedrooms or office spaces. Here's how they work to provide you with cleaner air:

    • HEPA Pre-Filter: This initial filter captures larger particles, extending the life of the main filter.

    • DFS (Disinfecting Filtration System) Technology: This electronically enhanced filter is the heart of the Intellipure Compact. It's designed to pull up to 99.99% of viruses, bacteria, and other small particles out of the air. The DFS system causes tiny air particles to stick together, making them easier to capture in the filter.
