About the event
Students in 8th-12th grades are invited to attend a Saturday STEAMlabs Session at the Georgia Tech Savannah Campus! Advance beyond “drag and drop” block coding as we guide you through the development of a real-time weather widget with your instructor Dr. Russ Clark. You will learn some of the basics of text-based coding as we both manipulate existing code and write source code. Sign up and create your own weather widget to use on a mobile device! This Savannah Saturday STEAMlabs Session will be held in partnership with the Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (CEISMC) at Georgia Tech.
